Younger Next Year: Live Strong, Fit, and Sexy Until You’re 80 And Beyond, written by Chris Crowley, Henry S Lodge

 

There are lots of things that I recommend to our personal training clients. One of my favourite things though is to get people to read, and become an expert in health and fitness. I love my personal development and am always reading something with the intention of improving an aspect of my life.

 

If your current goal is to lose weight, or get fit, then you should be reading things that help you on that journey. You should make sure health and fitness is always on your mind. So I will be giving you ideas on things that you can read to help you.

 

This book is a fantastic book for everyone. It is co-authored by 2 completely different people. One, a doctor who explains all the science behind everything, but in a really easy to understand way, and the other, a normal guy, applying the science to his life.

 

According to the book, and I totally agree, the book gives you everything you need to put off 70% of the normal problems associated with aging (weakness, sore joints, bad balance) and eliminate 50% of serious illness and injury.

 

I highly recommend that you read this book.

I told one of our clients to read this, she bought it and read it within a few days. She immediately handed it to her husband, who didn’t really want to read it, but got so into it, he finished it within 2 days and is already applying some of the principles.
